The Upright Citizens Brigade is a sketch comedy show that was created by Matt Besser, Amy Poehler, Ian Roberts, and Matt Walsh. The show consists of sketches and other comic bits that are performed by the members of the group and featured guests. In season 1 episode 2, titled Poo Stick, the Upright Citizens Brigade tackle a number of different subjects with their unique brand of humor.

The episode is divided into several sketches, each with its own distinct style and tone. One of the sketches features the four members of the UCB as unreliable policemen who are investigating a small convenience store robbery. The group tries to use a variety of bizarre and ineffective interrogation techniques to extract information from the suspect, but their efforts are ultimately unsuccessful. The sketch is essentially a parody of the classic police procedural drama, but with a humorous twist.

Another sketch in the episode features a group of teenagers who have formed a punk band, but who are constantly interrupted by their overbearing parents. The parents demand that the kids clean up their room, do their homework, and generally behave like model citizens. The teens are frustrated by the constant nagging and eventually stage a rebellion against their parents. The sketch is funny, but it also has a poignant message about the struggle between individuality and conformity.

One of the more absurd sketches in the episode involves a group of office workers who are struggling to come up with a new slogan for their company. The employees all suggest ridiculous ideas like "We're the best, deal with it" and "We're like the ocean, we're deep and mysterious." The boss eventually decides to choose a slogan at random by throwing a pencil into a fishbowl filled with different slogans. The sketch is surreal and somewhat existential, but it's also incredibly funny.

In another sketch, the Upright Citizens Brigade plays a group of video game designers who are creating a new game based on the popular children's book series, "The Magic Tree House." The group's leader has some unconventional ideas for the game, such as turning the main character into a fire-breathing dragon and adding a "pee" button to the game controls. The sketch is a hilarious commentary on the world of video game development and the creative process.

Overall, the second episode of Upright Citizens Brigade is a great example of the group's unique brand of comedy. The sketches are all different, but they all share a common thread of absurdity and irreverence. If you're a fan of irreverent humor and don't mind a bit of surrealism, then this episode is definitely worth checking out!
