Ep 3. Love Bites

Van Helsing season 2 episode 3, titled "Love Bites", picks up with Vanessa and Axel arriving at a compound filled with survivors led by a mysterious woman named Taka. While initially welcoming, the survivors quickly become hostile towards Vanessa as they believe her to be a vampire. Despite Axel's attempts to calm the situation, tensions only continue to rise and soon the group is forced to defend themselves against a vampire attack.

Meanwhile, Doc and Julius continue their journey to the "safe haven" known as The Citadel. Along the way, they encounter a group of humans who have been bitten by a new type of vampire, one that doesn't kill its victims but instead turns them into loyal "blood mules" to be used for blood transfusions. The two must navigate these new threats as well as their own personal issues.

Back at the compound, Vanessa discovers that Taka has been keeping a secret from the group, one that could put everyone in danger. As she tries to uncover the truth, she is captured by the survivors and accused of being a spy for the vampires. With Vanessa captured, Axel must find a way to work with the hostile survivors and rescue his friend before it's too late.

"Love Bites" is a thrilling episode that ramps up the tension as the survivors' suspicions of Vanessa threaten to boil over. With new types of vampires and unexpected twists, this episode is sure to keep viewers on the edge of their seat.
