Watch Wallander: The Original Episodes

Wallander was a Swedish television program created by Studio Yellow Bird (the same studio behind the creation of the original Girl With The Dragon Tattoo film series). The series was (unlike the English counterpart headed by Kenneth Branagh) very meticulously adapted from the Wallander crime novel series by popular Swedish fiction author, Henning Mankell.

There were 13 90 minute episodes produced for the first season with both the show's production, plotting, acting and close attention to the novel's original details being praised by audiences and critics alike. The saga follows Kurt Wallander a world weary police detective struggling to find light in Sweden's squalid, soul-less underworld.
