Nancy is finally released from prison early due to her cooperation with the government in bringing down some Mexican drug dealers. She returns home to find her family and friends in disarray. Silas has taken over the grow operation and things are not going well. Shane is struggling with his relationship with his girlfriend, and Andy is still unsure about what he wants out of life.
Nancy struggles to adjust to life outside of prison and reconnect with her family. She begins to question her decision to work with the government and wonders if it was worth the cost. Meanwhile, Doug is still living in the wilderness and has a run-in with some bears.
Silas is still struggling to keep the grow operation afloat and decides to invest in a new strain of hybrid marijuana. He recruits a professor to help him with the genetics, but the professor has ulterior motives. Silas soon realizes that he may have made a deal with the devil.
Shane continues to be torn between his loyalty to his family and his desire to be with his girlfriend. He turns to Nancy for advice, but she is still struggling to be a good mother and role model after her time in prison.
Meanwhile, Andy is still trying to figure out what he wants out of life. He begins to consider a career in law enforcement, but his past criminal record may hold him back.
As the episode unfolds, Nancy tries to navigate the complex world of marijuana cultivation and her family's complicated personal lives. She realizes that sometimes, even theoretical love is not enough to save what is broken. In the end, the family must come together to overcome their struggles and find a way to move forward together.
