What's Up was a Korean drama series that aired on the MBN network from 2011 to 2012. It starred Go Hyun-jung and Cheon Jeong-myeong in lead roles, along with other talented actors and actresses. The show centered around a group of young adults who were studying at a prestigious arts school in Korea. The main character was named Ha Do-sung (played by Cheon Jeong-myeong), who was a talented musician and composer. He dreams of becoming a famous musician, but his life is turned upside down when his father passes away suddenly.

Ha Do-sung's father was a famous composer, and upon his death, Ha Do-sung is left with a huge debt that he must repay. To make matters worse, his father's legacy becomes a burden for him, as he struggles to live up to his father's reputation.

Despite these challenges, Ha Do-sung is determined to succeed and he starts a band with his classmates. Along the way, he meets and falls in love with a talented dancer named Noh Yoon-ji (played by Jo Bo-ah), who is also trying to make her way in the arts world.

The show follows the ups and downs of these characters' lives as they pursue their dreams, deal with difficult family issues, and navigate the complex relationships that develop between them. There are plenty of moments of drama, as well as some comedic relief, making for an engaging and entertaining show.

One of the strengths of the show is the quality of the music. As expected from a series about aspiring musicians, there are plenty of original songs performed throughout the show. The music is a mix of pop rock and ballads, and the cast members all have strong voices that help to bring the songs to life.

In addition to the music, the show also explores some deeper themes, such as the pressures of family expectations, the challenges of pursuing a creative career, and the importance of friendship and camaraderie in difficult times.

Overall, What's Up is an enjoyable and engaging drama series that will appeal to fans of music-themed shows and coming-of-age stories. The talented cast brings the characters to life in a way that is both relatable and engaging, making this a show that is well worth watching.
