The episode opened with WWE Chairman Vince McMahon coming to the ring to announce that Paul Heyman had been fired as the manager of WWE superstar CM Punk. Heyman had been causing trouble for months, and his antics had finally caught up with him.
The first match of the night was a tag team match between Team Hell No (Daniel Bryan and Kane) and the team of Cody Rhodes and Damien Sandow. It was an intense match with both teams fighting hard, but in the end, Team Hell No emerged victorious.
Next up was a singles match between Ryback and Antonio Cesaro. The two superstars put on a great show, but Ryback came out on top with his trademark finishing move, Shell Shocked.
Following Ryback's win, WWE Divas Champion Kaitlyn came to the ring to address the WWE Universe. As she was speaking, AJ Lee, who had been feuding with Kaitlyn for several months, interrupted and proceeded to verbally attack the champion. The two women traded insults before AJ slapped Kaitlyn in the face, leaving her stunned.
The next match was a triple threat match between Randy Orton, Rey Mysterio, and Wade Barrett. Each wrestler had their moments in the match, but it was Orton who ultimately emerged victorious after hitting the RKO on Mysterio.
After the match, John Cena came to the ring to address the WWE Universe. He talked about his upcoming match against The Rock at WrestleMania 29 and how he was going to win the WWE Championship. He also called out his WrestleMania opponent, challenging The Rock to come to the ring and face him. However, The Rock was nowhere to be found.
The main event of the night was a six-man tag team match between Sheamus, John Cena, and Ryback against The Shield (Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins, and Roman Reigns). The match was chaotic and full of action, with each team using their signature moves and finishing maneuvers. In the end, it was the Shield who emerged victorious after attacking John Cena and Ryback outside of the ring, leaving Sheamus to fight them alone.
