Ep 1. Pilot

Wynonna Earp is a supernatural western drama that follows the life of Wynonna, a young and feisty woman from the legendary Earp family. In episode one - Pilot, we are introduced to Wynonna as she returns to her hometown Purgatory after being away for several years. She comes back for the funeral of her uncle Curtis, who was killed by a supernatural creature called a revenant - a resurrected criminal who seeks revenge on the descendants of those who killed them.

As soon as Wynonna arrives, she reunites with her younger sister Waverly, who has been running the Earp homestead in her absence. Waverly reminds Wynonna of the curse that has been plaguing their family for generations - that the Earp heirs must kill all the revenants to send them back to Hell and free their family from the curse.

Revenants have been causing chaos in Purgatory for years, and the town's inhabitants, including the local authorities, have grown accustomed to the turmoil. However, when Wynonna returns, she kicks off a chain of events that forces them to face the curse and the revenants head-on.

As Wynonna mourns her uncle and accepts her destiny, she deals with the demons of her past, including her troubled relationship with her sister and the traumatic event that sent her away from Purgatory. She also meets the handsome and charming Agent Dolls, who works for a secretive government organization dedicated to hunting down supernatural threats. Dolls is convinced that Wynonna can help them, and he becomes her partner in hunting down the revenants.

Together, they track down a creepy revenant named Bobo Del Rey, who is at the center of the crimes in Purgatory. They pursue Bobo to a strip club called the Glory Hole, where they engage in a shootout, proving that Wynonna is a skilled marksman. But Bobo is not an ordinary revenant, and his eerie control over the other revenants suggests that their mission will not be an easy one.

Meanwhile, Wynonna discovers that she has inherited a powerful and ancient revolver called Peacemaker, which is the only weapon capable of killing the revenants for good. Peacemaker seems to have a life of its own, and only Wynonna can wield it.

The episode ends with a bang, literally, as Wynonna confronts Bobo and his army of revenants in a terrifying showdown. The battle is just the beginning of her journey to rid Purgatory of the cursed revenants and clear her family's name.

Overall, the first episode of Wynonna Earp does an excellent job of setting up the show's premise and characters, while also delivering plenty of action and suspense. The mix of supernatural elements and western themes makes for a unique and exciting watching experience, and the charming and capable cast of characters make the show easy to root for.
