Yeh Meri Family is a 7-episode Indian comedy-drama series directed by Sameer Saxena. The series is set in the summer of 1998 and follows the story of a 12-year-old boy, Harshu, and his family. The series takes a nostalgic trip down the memory lane of the 90s and recreates the simpler times of family bonding and growing up.

In episode 6, titled Chupan Chupai, Harshu and his friends are playing a game called Chupan Chupai, which is similar to hide and seek. Harshu's older brother, Dabbu, is bored with the game and wants to go out to play with his friends, leaving Harshu all alone with his friends. Harshu insists on playing the game and convinces his friends to keep playing until they can't anymore. The game takes a dramatic turn when one of Harshu's friends, Shanky, fails to show up after getting caught by the seeker. Harshu and his friends are worried about Shanky and set out to find him using their wits and courage, dodging obstacles like vicious dogs and unfriendly neighbors.

Meanwhile, Harshu's mother is trying to get him to study for his exams, but he is too preoccupied with the game and his missing friend. His mother hires a tutor, who turns out to be a young and attractive woman, causing Harshu's father to become jealous and suspicious. The two have a hilarious and awkward conversation about the tutor's intentions and the father's protective instincts.

The episode also explores the strained relationship between Harshu's father and grandfather, who he calls "Yeda Uncle." The grandfather is quite eccentric and spends most of his time staring at the television or playing pranks on his family. However, in this episode, we get a glimpse of the grandfather's vulnerable side and his love for his family.

The show continues to highlight the simple joys of family life, interspersed with poignant moments of growing up, such as the pressure of exams and the challenges of peer pressure. The humor in the show is charming and relatable, and it captures the essence of growing up in India in the 90s.

Overall, episode 6 of Yeh Meri Family is another heartwarming chapter in Harshu's journey, exploring the importance of friendship and family amidst the challenges of growing up.
