Yona of the Dawn is an anime series based on a manga by Mizuho Kusanagi. The show follows the story of a young princess named Yona who is forced to flee her kingdom after her father is betrayed and killed by her childhood friend, Su-won. In season 1, episode 21 titled "E 21," Yona and her companions are on the hunt for the final dragon warrior, the Yellow Dragon. With the help of a map given to them by Ik-su, a wise old monk, Yona and her companions make their way to a village rumored to be home to the Yellow Dragon.

Upon arriving in the village, Yona and her companions are met with suspicion and hostility from the villagers. It's revealed that the Yellow Dragon, whose real name is Jaeha, has been living in the village for quite some time, but has been avoiding contact with the outside world due to his past as a pirate.

Despite the villagers' warnings, Yona and her companions set out to find Jaeha, but they soon discover that he's not interested in joining them on their quest. Jaeha is content to live a peaceful life in the village and wants nothing to do with the outside world or Yona's quest for the throne.

Yona is determined to convince Jaeha to join them, but she struggles to understand his reluctance. However, when Yona is kidnapped by a group of bandits, Jaeha springs into action to save her. It's then revealed that Jaeha has been avoiding the outside world not for his own sake, but to protect the people he cares about from his past life as a pirate.

With Yona's life in danger, Jaeha puts aside his fears and joins her quest to ensure her safety. He agrees to become the Yellow Dragon and aids Yona and her companions on their journey to reclaim the throne.
