The television series entitled Steins; Gate is a game series featuring different characters and their various abilities and capabilities. The aspects of time and time traveling are the subject of concern of the series, reason why Rintaro is able to travel back in time to adjust things that are going to happen in the future.

Rintaro and Mayuri leave for Radio kaikan where they plan to attend a conference, while there Rintaro comes across a lady called Kurisu lying helpless on the floor with her body covered with blood. Rintaro informs Itaru about the incident by sending him a text message. Later on Rintaro comes across Kisuru and is surprised to see her looking very healthy and he finds out that the text he had sent to Itaru got to him a week before he actually sent it.

Rinraro later discovers that he and his friends had mistakenly developed a time machine that sends texts to the past. He tells his friends about it and they soon discover that there exists an organization that had been carrying out research on time travel and had finally succeeded to develop a way that they send human beings back to the past. Kurisu decides to develop an appliance capable to enable people bounce back to the past.

Rintaru decides to use Kusiru's time machine to rescue Mayuri from death. A girl called Suzuha appears to Rintaro and makes him realize he has to return to another world where Kurisu is a dead man. Kusiru however advices Rintaro to rescue Mayiru instead and tough he does not like the idea, Rintaro unwillingly does so. Rintaru however comes to the understanding that the use of the time machine simply lied to him about the death of Kusiru. He then returns to the past again and decides to endanger his own life so as to save Kusiru. He succeeds in doing so and the two friends finally reunite in Akihabara.

Steins;Gate is a Anime series that is currently running and has 3 seasons (49 episodes). The series first aired on April 6, 2011. It has mostly positive reviews from critics and viewers, who have given it an IMDb score of 8.8.
