Liza struggles with the aftermath of her daughter Caitlin finding out about her true age. She tries to distract herself by throwing herself into work, where her boss Diana is requiring her to assist with a corporate retreat. Meanwhile, Kelsey is dealing with the fact that her ex-boyfriend Thad is now engaged to another woman. Liza and Kelsey try to take their minds off of their personal lives by inviting their friends to a poker night. However, things take a turn when Liza digs too deep into a potential new author's social media presence and Kelsey ends up in a compromising situation with Thad's fiancée.
