The S.W.A.T. is trained and qualifies to find a drug trafficker Martin Gascoigne (Ken Davitian) that seems to always get away from a bunch of law suits. The moment Martin is placed in jail, he offers the public millions of dollars if they escape him from jail. This causes a riot among gang members, and has caused great danger on the S.W.A.T. team.
Sergeant Daniel's S.W.A.T. team has been underestimated for being the newest team, and this specific case gave them the chance to show the entire S.W.A.T. what they're capable of. After the incident that caused Street's chance in the S.W.A.T. back then, his partner, Brian Gamble (Jeremy Renner) was fired as a police officer. The moment Gamble heard the 100 million dollar reward, he instantly tries to escape Martin the drug trafficker. While Gamble tries to escape this drug trafficker from jail, Martin tries to tempt the rest of the S.W.A.T. team to escape him, as the team only earns $60,000 to $70,000 a year.
