The 2003 film S.W.A.T. is an action-crime-thriller which was based on the popular 1975 television series S.W.A.T.. The film stars Samuel L. Jackson, Michelle Rodriguez, LL Cool J, and Colin Farrell. The film is perfect for those who enjoy action packed films, making it the best film for everyone who enjoys action movies. The plot of the movie begins with Jim Street (Colin Farrell) who was supposed to be assigned to the S.W.A.T. (his dream job) right until his soon-to-be ex-partner ruins things for the both of them. The story then goes on with Street being hired by Sergeant Daniel Harrelson (Samuel L Jackson). Harrelson then hires Chris Sanchez (Michelle Rodriguez), Deacon Kaye (LL Cool J), and T.J. McCabe (Josh Charles).

The S.W.A.T. is trained and qualifies to find a drug trafficker Martin Gascoigne (Ken Davitian) that seems to always get away from a bunch of law suits. The moment Martin is placed in jail, he offers the public millions of dollars if they escape him from jail. This causes a riot among gang members, and has caused great danger on the S.W.A.T. team.

Sergeant Daniel's S.W.A.T. team has been underestimated for being the newest team, and this specific case gave them the chance to show the entire S.W.A.T. what they're capable of. After the incident that caused Street's chance in the S.W.A.T. back then, his partner, Brian Gamble (Jeremy Renner) was fired as a police officer. The moment Gamble heard the 100 million dollar reward, he instantly tries to escape Martin the drug trafficker. While Gamble tries to escape this drug trafficker from jail, Martin tries to tempt the rest of the S.W.A.T. team to escape him, as the team only earns $60,000 to $70,000 a year.

The movie involves a bunch of action, chasing, and betrayal. Although it was quite an exciting film, it only received 48% on the popular movie critic website Rotten Tomatoes. However, despite the film being considered as rotten on the popular movie critic site, it still managed to earn an overall Box Office of $207,725,639.

The film overall has a great plot and splendid acting from these highly talented actors. They really made viewers believe the story was real, and the movie really made the popular tv series justice. Although it isn't a movie for everyone, it happens to be a film that everyone who enjoys action packed films should consider watching one of these days.
