Ep 7. Homestead Hardships

In the fifth season of Alaska: The Last Frontier, the Kilcher family is back to struggle with harsh conditions, unpredictable weather, and unrelenting work as they try to survive off the land in the Alaskan wilderness. To add to their already heavy workload, the Kilchers have also recently brought home a new puppy named Banjo. But Banjo, being a young and curious animal, proves to be quite a handful. Eve takes on the task of training Banjo, but she soon realizes that the process is going to take a lot more time and effort than she had anticipated.

As if the Kilchers didn't have enough on their plates, it seems Mother Nature is preparing to throw them another curveball. A huge storm is brewing on the horizon, and the family must race against time to prepare for its arrival. They must bring in as much wood as possible, secure loose items, and prepare their homestead for the onslaught.

Throughout the episode, we see the Kilchers facing these hardships head-on, working tirelessly to secure their survival. The show captures the family's unwavering commitment to living off the land, no matter how difficult the circumstances may be. As always, the Kilchers' determination, resourcefulness, and resilience are inspiring to watch, and leave viewers in awe of their lifestyle and the hardships they endure.
