Ep 20. Hawk & Chick

Bob's Burgers is an American animated sitcom that revolves around a family of five who run a burger restaurant in a local town. In the episode "Hawk & Chick" of season 5, the family decides to go on an adventure to meet the creator of their favorite action-movie series named Hawk & Chick.

When they reach J.J's house, they find out that he has indeed fallen ill and is unable to meet them. However, they also find out that J.J. is actually a woman named Joan and not a man as they always thought. Joan invites the Belchers in and tells them how she came up with the idea for Hawk & Chick and the challenges she faced as a female director in the male-dominated movie industry. She also shows them a sneak peek of the upcoming film and answers their questions. The family is impressed by Joan's talent and decide to help her out by doing quick voice-over work for her movie.

Throughout the episode, the Belcher family members are dressed up in their Hawk & Chick costumes, making for lots of comic interactions with those around them who are not wearing costumes. As always, the episode is full of quirky humor and touching moments between the family members.
