Ep 7. Dead Inside

In CSI: NY season 5 episode 7 titled Dead Inside, the team is called in to investigate a puzzling case when the body of a young woman is found inside a housing project building. The team discovers that the victim was pregnant and had been dead for several weeks before her body was discovered.

The team suspects that this may be the work of a serial killer, however, they soon learn that the victim had been receiving care from a therapist who believes that people can be emotionally "dead inside." Elsewhere in the episode, Danny (Carmine Giovinazzo) and Lindsay (Anna Belknap) investigate the death of a high school student who may have been the victim of cyber-bullying. The team uncovers a network of online bullies that may have been responsible for driving the victim to suicide.

As the investigations progress, the team must work against the clock to unravel the complex web of clues and bring the perpetrators to justice before they can strike again. With emotional and personal challenges weighing heavily on the team, the pressure is on to solve these cases and find closure for the victims and their loved ones.
