Ep 24. A Controlled Descent

Sherlock Holmes and Joan Watson have taken on countless cases over the years, but as Elementary season 3 comes to a close, they face their toughest challenge yet in the finale episode, "A Controlled Descent."

The episode begins with Sherlock and Joan investigating a homicide in which the victim was decapitated. However, their attention is soon diverted as they receive a call from Moriarty, who has been cooperating with the police and FBI in exchange for the transfer to a federal prison. Moriarty tells Sherlock that she's in danger and needs his help to escape.

As the two detectives race to Moriarty's location, they find themselves caught in a web of deception and betrayal. They discover that a group of criminals, including some of Moriarty's former associates, are planning to kill her before she can testify against them. With time running out, Sherlock and Joan must navigate a complex maze of traps and obstacles to reach Moriarty and get her to safety.

Meanwhile, Captain Gregson and Detective Bell are tasked with investigating the murder case, which ultimately leads them to a wealthy financier who was involved in a Ponzi scheme. The case takes a surprising turn when they discover that he was not the only one involved in the scheme, and that a number of high-ranking officials and politicians were also involved.

As the hour-long episode unfolds, the two storylines intertwine to create a gripping climax that will leave viewers on the edge of their seats. "A Controlled Descent" is a thrilling and suspenseful finale that showcases the incredible chemistry and talents of the show's talented cast.
