Ep 5. Hard Being Easy

Hannah, Marnie, and Jessa attend a college alumni event, where Hannah meets up with her old college flame, Elijah. They rekindle their friendship and Elijah confesses to Hannah that he is gay. Meanwhile, Marnie reconnects with a former flame, who has become a successful artist, and agrees to go on a date with him. However, things take a turn when they end up having sex on a couch at his art studio, causing Marnie to question her actions and feelings. Jessa, on the other hand, meets a wealthy investment banker at the event and spends the night with him, only to find out the next day that he is married. Disturbed by the news, Jessa visits her father and struggles to come to terms with her relationship with him. Back at home, Shoshanna hosts a party, but takes things too far when she mixes alcohol and prescription drugs. The episode explores the complex relationships and struggles of the four women as they navigate their way through adulthood.
