Meanwhile, Ashley deals with a customer who is hoping to sell a diamond that he claims is from his grandmother's ring. Ashley takes the stone to be examined by a jewelry expert, but when the results come back, it's not exactly what the customer was hoping for.
Throughout the episode, viewers are treated to a rare glimpse of the fascinating and often tense world of pawn shops, where the value of an item is never just what it seems and negotiations are always fraught with emotion. With its cast of colorful characters and high stakes drama, Hardcore Pawn continues to be a riveting look at the world of buying and selling in Detroit.
