Hollywood Heights

"Hollywood Heights" from the Nick at Nite channel follows the adventures of high school senior Loren Tate (Brittany Underwood) as she enters the strange and wonderful world of the Hollywood entertainment industry. Loren enters a songwriting competition held by her celebrity crush Eddie Duran (Cody Longo), a young rock star. After battling a terrifying case of stage fright, Loren manages to win the contest and unexpectedly develops a friendship with Eddie who thinks Loren can succeed as a performer as well as a writer. Now Loren will begin to experience the glamorous and sometimes treacherous world of Hollywood fame and fortune.

Loren begins to understand that Eddie's life as a star has a dark side as he wonders whether he has sacrificed a normal life. His agent, Jake (Brandon Bell), pushes Eddie relentlessly to keep him on top of the Hollywood fame game. Both Eddie and his father, Max (Carlos Ponce), continue to mourn the death of Eddie's mother in a tragic car accident, but the two men maintain a strong and supportive relationship. Yet, Eddie's girlfriend, Chloe (Melissa Ordway), a beautiful model, has been keeping a dark secret from him that could ruin their relationship. Eddie also has the deeply bitter rival Tyler Rorke (Justin Wilczynski), a former friend, who will stop at nothing to ruin Eddie's success.

Luckily for Loren, she has the unwavering support of her single mom, Nora (Jama Williamson), and the encouragement of her close friends, Melissa (Ashley Holliday) and Adam (Nick Krause) as she tries to navigate this new world. Loren continues her life as a straight-A student at her old school with some of the popular kids, like Adriana (Hayley King) and Phil (Robert Adamson), continuing to make her school life miserable. "Hollywood Heights" premiered in June 2012 as one of Nick at Nite's original programs.
