Ep 29. Passed? x Failed? x End of Exams

Gon and his friends are faced with their final test for the Hunter Exam. As they enter the room, they are introduced to three proctors who will oversee the examination. The first portion of the test involves a written examination, and Gon and his friends quickly begin answering questions about the history and regulations of the Hunter Association.

As the minutes tick by, the proctors move through the room, checking the answers of each candidate. Leorio, who struggles with the written test, becomes increasingly frustrated as he watches the other candidates breeze through the exam.

After completing the written portion, the candidates are given a brief break before beginning the second portion of the examination. The proctors explain that this portion of the test will be much more difficult and that the candidates must be prepared for anything.

The second test is to enter a restrictive house and to retrieve a ball from the bottom floor and bring it back to the entrance. The catch is that the house is booby-trapped with hidden traps and dangers that are unfamiliar to the candidates, each designed to take advantage of their weaknesses.

Gon, Kurapika, and Leorio are the first to enter the house, and they quickly discover that they must work together if they hope to make it to the bottom floor. Along the way, they are forced to solve puzzles and navigate treacherous obstacles, all while being pursued by the proctors, who have been tasked with slowing them down however they can.

Despite the obstacles, the three friends make it to the bottom floor and retrieve the ball. However, Leorio is badly injured in the process, and it becomes clear that they may not make it back to the entrance in time.

The third portion of the examination begins with a series of one-on-one battles. Gon faces off against Hisoka, a powerful Hunter who he fought earlier in the exams. Gon is determined to win this time and quickly launches into an attack. Hisoka, however, is not so easily defeated, and the two hunters engage in a fierce battle that leaves them both battered and bruised.

Kurapika, meanwhile, faces off against a mysterious opponent named Majitani. Kurapika quickly discovers that Majitani is not what he seems and unleashes his true power to defeat him.

Leorio, unable to participate in the battles due to his injuries, is forced to watch from the sidelines. When his friend, Gon, is knocked unconscious, Leorio springs into action and manages to revive him using his medical skills.

Despite the grueling battles and numerous obstacles, Gon, Kurapika, and Leorio all manage to pass the Hunter Exam. As they celebrate their victory, they realize that their journey has only just begun and that they have much to learn before they can truly call themselves hunters.
