Erased is a Japanese manga series that came out in 2012, and was written by Kei Sanbe, and then turned into an anime series in 2016. In Japan, it had a different name, which was Boku Dake ga InaiMachi, which means the Town Without Me. The show was about a man named Satoru Fujinuma who could go back in time a few seconds prior to someone about to be killed, and then try to stop the event from occurring. In one episode, for instance, he saves friends from his childhood when he goes back 18 years to when the three friends were about to be kidnapped. Some of the main characters in Erased besides Fujinuma are his 10 year old self, Airi Katagirl, Sachiko Fujinuma, Hiromi Sugati, Kenya Kobayashi, Kayo Hinazuki, Osamu, Kazu, Jun Shiratori, and Gaku Yashiro. These were featured in the animated version of the show. The show lasted one season and had 12 episodes.
