Ep 3. Throw Maw Maw From The House (2)

When Maw Maw's behavior gets out of hand, the Chance family decides to have her sent to a nursing home. Virginia becomes very emotional at the thought of losing her grandmother, but the rest of the family insists it is for the best. However, when they arrive at the nursing home, they quickly realize that it is not what they had in mind. The home is dirty, the staff is lazy, and the other residents are all senile.

Jimmy feels guilty for sending Maw Maw there, but he is also overwhelmed with taking care of his own family. Burt tries to distract him by taking him to a bar, but they end up getting in a fight instead. Meanwhile, Virginia takes matters into her own hands and goes to the nursing home to try and rescue Maw Maw. After a few failed attempts, she finally succeeds in breaking her out.

Back at home, the Chance family tries to hide Maw Maw from the nursing home staff, but it proves to be more difficult than expected. They set up a fake room for her, but she keeps wandering around the house and causing chaos. Eventually, the nursing home staff shows up and demands that Maw Maw be returned to their care. Jimmy and Virginia stand up to them and refuse to let her go.

The episode ends with the family coming together to care for Maw Maw and realizing that they do not need to rely on an outside institution to take care of her. They also acknowledge the sacrifices that Virginia has made to take care of her grandmother and show their appreciation for her. Overall, the episode highlights the complicated nature of caring for elderly relatives and the importance of family support.
