Ep 5. Don't Ask, Don't Tell Me What To Do

Jimmy (Lucas Neff) and Sabrina (Shannon Woodward) plan a romantic weekend getaway to a bed and breakfast, but things takes an unexpected turn when the owner mistakes them for a married couple. Meanwhile, Virginia (Martha Plimpton) and Burt (Garret Dillahunt) attempt to intervene when they discover that their grandson, Hope, has been enrolled in a questionable preschool program. They find themselves facing off against a pushy and overbearing PTA mom, played by guest star Hilary Duff. To complicate matters further, Virginia and Burt must navigate their own feelings about the issue as they confront their own prejudices and biases. Meanwhile, Maw Maw (Cloris Leachman) recruits Shelley (Kate Micucci) to help her get revenge on a neighbor who has been stealing her newspaper. The episode features a number of humorous and heartwarming moments as the Chance family learns important lessons about love, acceptance, and the true meaning of family.
