Ep 5. Morocc' and Roll

The Amazing Race season 25 episode 5, "Morocc' and Roll," takes the remaining teams to Morocco for the next leg of the race. The episode begins with a Roadblock challenge where one member from each team must search for a key hidden within a massive pile of spices in a local market. From there, teams must head to a nearby cafe where they're confronted with a Detour challenge: "Drop It Off" or "Shake It Off."

In "Drop It Off," teams must deliver two baskets of bread to a local bakery by bicycle, navigating through the narrow streets and busy traffic of Marrakesh. In "Shake It Off," teams must learn the traditional Moroccan dance known as the "soukous," and perform it in a crowded square for a group of judges.

At the next clue box, teams are directed to the town of Ouarzazate, where they must find the Atlas Film Studios and search for their next clue among a set of props from iconic films like Gladiator and Game of Thrones. This leads to a Roadblock where one team member must use a traditional weaving loom to create a rug, before racing to the pit stop at Kasbah Ait Benhaddou.

Throughout the episode, teams continue to face unexpected challenges and setbacks, including faulty bicycles, a missed flight, and communication barriers with locals. But as always, they push through the obstacles and strive to come out on top.
