Ep 11. Night Out

Michael Scott, the regional manager at Dunder Mifflin Paper Company, is feeling down after breaking up with his girlfriend, Jan. In an attempt to take his mind off things, he convinces some of his coworkers to go out for a night on the town. Meanwhile, the remaining employees stay back at the office, where they engage in their own hijinks.

While out, Michael, along with Dwight and Andy, attempt to pick up women at a club. Michael, however, fails miserably, and ends up getting in trouble with the law. Dwight and Andy, on the other hand, have better luck and end up taking two women back to their hotel room.

Back at the office, Jim, who is left in charge, attempts to conduct a productive meeting with the rest of the employees. However, things quickly spiral out of control as various distractions, including an office-wide game of "Who's That Celebrity," interrupt the meeting.

As the night goes on, Michael, Dwight, and Andy's plans with the women fall apart, leaving them stranded and alone. Meanwhile, the remaining employees back at the office begin to regret their decision to stay behind.

Throughout the episode, various conflicts arise between the characters, including Jim's struggle to control the meeting and Michael's embarrassment over his failed attempts at flirting. However, by the end of the night, the characters come to appreciate their time spent together, despite the chaos that ensued.
