Ep 11. Head Cheese

Nancy gets involved in an unexpected situation, when she least expects it, and is shaken by it. The episode, "Head Cheese," takes place in New York City, where Nancy and her accomplice, Valerie, are visiting a client. Nancy shares her dissatisfaction with Valerie's pushy and distracting behavior, viewing it as a lack of professional demeanor.

In the midst of their conversation, a panicked Valerie rushes out of the room, prompting Nancy to investigate. She discovers that Valerie's daughter, Tim, is in trouble with her overbearing boss, Ronnie. Ronnie has coerced Tim into taking part in an illegal scheme, which has disastrous consequences.

Nancy and Valerie figure out that Ronnie is a major player in a drug ring, and they want Tim to help them. They concoct a plan to take down Ronnie, but their scheme goes awry when Valerie unexpectedly reveals that she has her own agenda.

In the meantime, Celia is on the hunt for Silas and Shane. She's sending out an APB on them in an effort to find them. She's also trying to weasel her way into finding out about Andy's patented cheese recipe, which he's been keeping a secret from her.

Back in New York, Nancy is struggling with the multitude of problems that keep arising. She's trying to keep on top of things, but it seems like her best efforts are not enough. Nancy is not one to back down, however, and she keeps pushing forward.

As the episode comes to a close, Nancy's relationship with Valerie is tested, and it's unclear whether it will survive the fallout of their failed mission. Celia is still on the hunt for her sons, and Andy's cheese business is at risk of being exposed. The ending teases a series of questions for the next episode: will our favorite characters be able to continue their duplicitous ways? Or will they be caught by law enforcement?
