In episode 767 of the long-running sports entertainment program WWE Raw, fans were treated to an action-packed night of wrestling action, drama, and surprises. The episode, which aired on September 12, 2016, marked the second installment of the show's sixteenth season and featured a host of superstar athletes from across the WWE universe battling it out for supremacy.

The night kicked off with a bang as the reigning WWE Universal Champion, Kevin Owens, took on Seth Rollins in a non-title match. The two competitors are no strangers to one another, having clashed repeatedly in the past, and the match was expected to be a hard-fought affair. And it was, with both men throwing everything they had at each other in an attempt to secure victory.

Despite Rollins' best efforts, however, it was Owens who emerged victorious in the end, hitting him with a Pop-up Powerbomb for the three-count. The win served to further cement Owens' status as one of WWE's top performers and set the stage for some intense rivalries in the future.

Another highlight of the night came when WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley made an appearance in the ring. Foley, who had been serving as Raw's General Manager for several months, announced that he would be taking a temporary leave of absence for personal reasons.

Before he left, however, he had some business to attend to. Foley called out his rival, Stephanie McMahon, who had been clashing with him over her desire to assert more control over Raw's management. The two had a heated exchange, with Foley accusing McMahon of being out of touch with the fans and McMahon calling Foley a failure as a GM. The segment ended with both parties storming out of the ring, leaving many fans wondering who would come out on top in this ongoing feud.

Another exciting match of the night was between former WWE Tag Team Champions The New Day and the team of Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson. The match was a non-title affair, but both teams were looking to build momentum as they climbed the rankings in search of gold.

The New Day put in a valiant effort, but in the end, it was Gallows and Anderson who emerged victorious, hitting Kofi Kingston with a Magic Killer for the win. This match served to establish Gallows and Anderson as a formidable tag team force and left fans excited to see what the future held for both teams.

But it wasn't just established stars who shone on this episode of Raw. Several up-and-coming wrestlers were given the chance to showcase their skills in the ring, including cruiserweight competitor Cedric Alexander, who took on Tony Nese in a thrilling one-on-one match. Alexander, who had been gaining a following among fans in recent months, delivered an impressive performance, earning himself a well-deserved victory over his opponent.

Other notable moments from the night included a backstage segment featuring Paul Heyman and his client, Brock Lesnar, as well as a women's match between Bayley and Charlotte Flair. All in all, episode 767 of WWE Raw was an entertaining and action-packed affair, featuring some of the best talent in the wrestling world today. As the sixteenth season of the show continued to unfold, fans could only speculate about what surprises and twists were yet to come.
