Watch WWE Raw

Each Monday night, the superstars of WWE bring the action right into your living room. Airing live from various locations around the country, Raw is among one of the highest rated shows on cable television. Raw is home to some of the biggest superstars in the industry. WWE champion C.M Punk, 10-time champion John Cena, the Big Show and others are regulars on each broadcast. The announce team consists of Micheal Cole and Jerry "The King" Lawler.

The WWE made wrestling cool in the late 90's with their Attitude Era. Mick Foley, known as Mankind in those days, won his first WWF championship on an episode of Raw when the WWE was known as the World Wrestling Federation. Stone Cold Steve Austin would often clash with his devious boss Vince McMahon.

Over the past decade, the Raw show was turned into its own brand within WWE. Initially, the Intercontinental championship and the World Heavyweight championship belts made their home on Raw. However, Raw is now the exclusive home of the United States championship as well as the WWE title. Today, most of the WWE roster is allowed to compete on what is considered the main show.

What makes Raw so interesting is that it is a combination of scripted and live television. The results of each match are already determined before the show. However, the action inside of the ring is mostly real. The wrestlers have to combine athletic talent with the ability to sell a story in the ring. This is what keeps audiences coming back for more.

Watch the Muppets Throw Down on WWE Raw (VIDEO)

When you think about pro wrestling, you tend to think about roided-out dudes in singlets trash-talking and then hitting each other with chairs. What you tend not to think about is puppetry. Yet, last night's episode of "WWE Monday Night Raw" featured appearances throughout from the Muppets, making it quite possibly the strangest cross-promotion in pro wrestling history. If you've ever wanted to see Kermit the Frog make some jokes about a wrestler's mother, here's your chance.
