Eve Harrington, young and beautiful, has recently become a star. Few people realize just how ambitious she is when she first begins to shadow her own favorite Broadway star, middle-aged Margo Channing. Told in flashback on the night when she's up for a major award, Eve's artful climb to the heights of stardom is full of surprises, not all of them pleasant.

This star-studded 1950 film stars Anne Baxter in the title role and Bette Davis as the aging Margo. It won the Oscar for Best Picture in 1950.
