Being Flynn is a movie based on a true story. It follows the life of a son who has recently lost his mother and has an absent Dad. He follows in his fathers foot steps although most of what he has known is from a letter and little things his mother had told him. Both father and son are writers. Just as the son is starting a new romance and job his absentee father shows up. He is the last person he wants to see. They muddle through and end up getting to know each other and helping each other along the way.
