Set in 1398. Kim Min-Jae (Shin Ha-Kyun), supreme commander of the Joseon Dynasty, risks everything for the woman he loves. Jin (Kang Ha-Neul) is Kim Min-Jae's son and the King's son-in-law. Unable to take part in politics, he only seeks out pleasure. Yi Bang-Won (Jang Hyuk) helped his father, the King, establish the Joseon Dynasty but was not made Crown Prince.
