A partner in the Mesquiteers, Carson, has struck gold and he is one of the happiest men in town. That happiness is quickly squashed when the boss, Byron, has him killed in order to gain control of the gold. He then convinces the sheriff to arrest a man named Stony in order to frame him for the murder. Tucson and Lullaby do not believe that Stony committed the murder and go in search of help for him. In the meantime, Byron does everything he can to have Stony executed before the secret is uncovered. Tucson and Lullaby must work fast if they are going to save their friend.
