"The Thin Blue Lie" (2000) is a made-for-TV movie that's a crime drama. It's about Jonathan Neumann and his partner Phil Chadway. They were reporters for the Philadelphia Inquirer who won the Pulitzer Prize in 1978. They had written a series of exposés revealing the corruption in the Philadelphia Police Department and the Mayor's office. The articles claimed policemen beat and tortured suspects.
