In the comedy-action film Tower Heist from 2011, a group of workers in a high-rise luxury tower in New York City, led by the building manager Josh Kovacs (portrayed by Ben Stiller), get together to plan a heist after they discover that their employer, billionaire investor Arthur Shaw (played by Alan Alda), has stolen their pensions.
