


Although Josh wants to believe in Shaw’s innocence, he’s deeply concerned because he asked Shaw to handle and invest the employees’ retirement fund. Despite his hope to the contrary Josh keeps discovering evidence to the contrary of Shaw’s innocence. The final straw comes when Lester, the long time door man, attempts to commit suicide and Josh discovers that his motivation was because of he gave control of his personal savings to Shaw for investment and has now lost everything. Josh confronts Shaw and discovers the man’s blasé attitude towards Lester’s situation which enrages Josh to the point of taking a golf club to Shaw’s prized possession; the Ferrari 250 for a Steve McQueen movie.
Josh, of course, loses his job as does his brother in law, Charlie and the elevator operator, Enrique for accompanying him to Shaw’s apartment. Josh, feeling remorse for Lester’s situation as well the employees who have lost their retirement money, realizes that Shaw must have the money hidden in his apartment and decides to get the retirement back for his friends. This is where Josh calls in the gang to help him break into Shaw’s apartment and get their money back; however, things just aren’t that simple especially when the money isn't in cash form. This leaves the gang wondering how you get a solid gold Ferrari out of a penthouse. ‘Tower Heist’ features the talents of Ben Stiller, Alan Alda, Casey Affleck, Mathew Broderick and Tea Leoni.
