Wild Card is a 2015 film directed by Simon West, starring Jason Statham, Michael Angarano, Dominik Garcia-Lorido, Milo Ventimiglia, and Hope Davis. The movie is a remake of the 1986 film Heat starring Burt Reynolds. The film focuses on a character named Nick Wild, played by Jason Statham, who is a former gambling addict living in Las Vegas. He now earns his living as a bodyguard and private investigator, using his skills in street fighting and his knowledge of the city to help people with their problems.

Nick Wild is approached by a young man named Cyrus Kinnick, played by Michael Angarano, who wants Nick to teach him how to defend himself after he is beaten up by a group of thugs. Nick initially refuses, but is later convinced by Cyrus to take him on as a client.

Things take a turn for the worse when Nick is hired by a wealthy businessman named Danny DeMarco, played by Milo Ventimiglia, to protect his girlfriend, Holly, played by Dominik Garcia-Lorido. Holly is a singer who has gotten in over her head with some dangerous people, and Nick's job is to keep her safe.

As Nick becomes more involved in Holly's life, he begins to develop feelings for her. But with his own troubled past and a group of dangerous individuals on their tail, Nick knows that getting involved with Holly could put both of their lives in danger.

The movie is a classic action-thriller, with plenty of fight scenes and tense moments throughout. Jason Statham is in top form as Nick Wild, bringing his signature brand of tough-guy charisma to the role. Michael Angarano is also impressive as young Cyrus, providing both humor and heart to the film.

The supporting cast, including Dominik Garcia-Lorido, Milo Ventimiglia, and Hope Davis, all deliver solid performances as well. The chemistry between Statham and Garcia-Lorido is particularly strong, adding an emotional depth to the film that is often missing in similar action movies.

Overall, Wild Card is an entertaining and well-made action-thriller that will appeal to fans of the genre. While it may not be particularly groundbreaking in terms of plot or characterization, the movie succeeds thanks to strong performances and exciting action sequences. It's definitely worth a watch for anyone looking for some explosive thrills and a satisfying ending.

Wild Card is a 2014 thriller with a runtime of 1 hour and 32 minutes. It has received mostly poor reviews from critics and viewers, who have given it an IMDb score of 5.6 and a MetaScore of 40.
