Ep 4. In Case of Separation Anxiety

Michael has a complex case on his hands when he treats a boy who has been experiencing seizures that no one has been able to cure. As he goes through the process of diagnosing and treating the boy, Michael is forced to confront some difficult truths about his own past.

Meanwhile, at the clinic, Rita struggles with the news that her ex-husband is getting remarried, leading her to question her own choices and relationships. When Michael realizes that Rita is struggling with separation anxiety, he takes it upon himself to help her work through her feelings and decisions.

As Michael juggles his professional and personal responsibilities, he also has to contend with a visit from his estranged sister, who forces him to confront the family issues that have been haunting him. In the midst of all this, Michael also finds himself drawn to a woman he meets outside the clinic, leading him to question his own romantic choices and desires.
