Ep 14. Card Wars

Finn and Jake return to their treehouse and settle in to play a game of Card Wars, a popular trading card game in the Land of Ooo. Finn is completely engrossed in the game, strategizing and carefully selecting his cards, but Jake seems uninterested and plays haphazardly. Despite this, Jake manages to win the game due to a lucky draw, sending Finn into a competitive rage.

Determined to prove himself as the best Card Wars player, Finn seeks out the help of the Card Wars champion, the Pig. The Pig, who lives in a remote cave, agrees to teach Finn his ways, but warns him that the game is about having fun, not just winning. Finn agrees, convinced that winning is the only way to truly enjoy the game.

As the two prepare to play, the Pig pulls out a set of cards unlike any Finn has ever seen before. The cards are ancient and powerful, but the Pig warns Finn that they come with a catch: the more powerful the card, the harder it is to control. Finn is undeterred and dives headfirst into the game, unleashing powerful creatures and spells.

Meanwhile, Jake becomes increasingly concerned about Finn's obsessive behavior. He tries to intervene and remind Finn that the game is just a game, but Finn is too caught up in the competition to listen. When Finn plays a particularly dangerous card that nearly destroys the cave, the Pig calls off the game, warning Finn that he has gone too far.

Despite the Pig's warning, Finn is determined to win at all costs. He challenges Jake to a rematch, this time with the powerful ancient cards, and the two engage in an epic battle that shakes the entire treehouse. As the game reaches its climax, Finn finally realizes that he has lost sight of what's important. He admits defeat and apologizes to Jake for his behavior.

In the end, the two friends settle in for a peaceful game of Card Wars, both happy to just be playing together. The episode ends with Jake glancing over at his brother's cards and saying, "I gotta get me some of those."
