Ep 15. Sons of Mars

In Adventure Time season 4 episode 15, titled "Sons of Mars," we follow the adventures of Jake the dog and Finn the human as they visit the red planet Mars. The episode opens up with Jake and Finn enjoying some delicious sandwiches in their treehouse when suddenly they hear a loud explosion. They quickly realize that the explosion was caused by the Martians and decide to investigate.

Upon arrival, they notice that Mars is in chaos. The Martians are in an uproar because their king, King Martain, has gone missing. They are all on the edge of a nervous breakdown believing themselves to be next in line for the throne. After a brief interaction with the martian elders, Finn and Jake are given an audience with the most prominent Martian in the kingdom, Magic Man.

The boys quickly realize that Magic Man is not their friend when he casts them into a dungeon filled with various deadly traps. However, after a few attempts, Finn and Jake are helped by a Mars dog named Abraham who helps them escape. Abraham reveals that one of the martian citizens de-throned King Martain with the help of Magic Man. Abraham also says that King Martain is being held by the culprit on the opposite side of Mars.

Abraham ends up joining Finn and Jake on their journey to rescue King Martain. The trio comes across various obstacles and encounters enemies along the way. They come across plenty of strange situations, including a talking Teletubby who closely resembles Magic Man and seems to symbolize all that is unsavory in the world.

Eventually, they come across a cave that houses a creature who is captured by the prank-loving Martians, known as the Glubs. However, the creature they find is not King Martain, but rather Magic Man!

The boys quickly realize that Magic Man had battled with King Martain and had somehow switched bodies with the Martian king, taking over his identity. In a twist of fates, Magic Man even goes ahead and reveals a surprising fact: he is not actually a Martian but a resident of a place called "Grod."

Upon learning this, Finn, Jake, and Abraham go back with their manacing helmets on and challenge Magic Man in combat. After an intense battle, they manage to defeat Magic Man and save King Martain. The problem is, they do not know the right formula to change the bodies back, so they swap the two bodies and leave Magic Man in the body of King Martain. Things do not end up as they planned since Abraham calls upon King Martain to execute Magic Man/King Martain back on Mars.

Overall, Adventure Time season 4 episode 15 is a thrilling and action-packed episode filled with twists and turns that keep the audience glued to their seats. It is an emotional and dramatic episode that takes the viewers on an adventurous ride across the mysterious planet of Mars. The episode managed to capture the unique essence of Adventure Time, which is why it is one of the most popular episodes of the show.
