Sonic and Tails discover that someone has stolen the shoes off all of the feet in Robotropolis, including those of Dr. Robotnik himself. The dynamic duo sets out to unravel the mystery and stop the thief before anyone else falls victim. Along the way, they encounter a group of street kids who are also victims of the shoe thief and team up with them to crack the case. After a series of clues and misadventures, they finally uncover the identity of the shoe thief and put an end to his nefarious plan. With justice restored and the stolen shoes returned to their rightful owners, Sonic and Tails zoom off into the sunset, ready for their next adventure.
