Ep 2. Love, Lies and Liquor, Part 1

Agatha Raisin season 4 episode 2, titled "Love, Lies and Liquor, Part 1," follows amateur detective Agatha Raisin as she investigates the death of a young woman, Jessica, who had recently moved to the village of Carsely. Agatha is initially drawn to the case by the woman's striking resemblance to herself, however, as she delves deeper into the investigation, she discovers that there is much more to Jessica's story than meets the eye.

As Agatha begins to question the villagers about their possible connection to the victim, she meets with resistance and even hostility from some. It seems that everyone has something to hide - from the mysterious and elusive builder, Rick, to the shifty pub landlord, Phil.

Meanwhile, Agatha's personal life is undergoing some changes of its own. Her on-again, off-again love interest, Sir Charles Fraith, has returned to the village, but his intentions towards Agatha are still unclear. To complicate matters further, Agatha's ex-husband, James, is also back on the scene, with a new girlfriend in tow.

As Agatha navigates her way through the twists and turns of the investigation, she must also contend with the emotional upheaval of her complicated love life.
