Ep 9. The Witches of Langley

Roger has always been one of the most interesting characters on American Dad! and in season 12 episode 9 titled The Witches of Langley, he’s going to get even more interesting. If you’re a fan of Roger, then this is definitely an episode you’re not going to want to miss.

The Witches of Langley is all about Roger and his newfound interest in witchcraft. He’s always had a bit of a dark side, but it seems like he’s really taking things to the next level in this episode. When he discovers that one of his old flames is a practicing witch, he becomes obsessed with learning everything he can about spellcasting and other forms of dark magic.

Meanwhile, Stan’s CIA training comes in handy when he’s assigned to protect a top-secret document. As always, Roger’s antics manage to put Stan and the rest of the family in danger. But this time, it’s not just their physical safety that’s at stake. Roger’s dabbling in witchcraft starts to affect everyone around him in some very unexpected ways.

Without giving too much away, The Witches of Langley is a must-see episode for fans of American Dad! It’s always fun to watch Roger get into trouble, but things get particularly wild in this episode. The show’s writers have really outdone themselves with all the witchcraft-related shenanigans that Roger gets up to. There are spells, curses, and even a few potions involved.

Towards the end of the episode, things really start to heat up and the tension builds as the consequences of Roger’s actions begin to catch up with him. Without spoiling anything too much, let’s just say that there’s a confrontation that fans of the show have been waiting for for a long time.

In terms of the overall storyline for the season, The Witches of Langley doesn’t really move things forward all that much. It’s more of a standalone episode that’s focused on exploring one particular character in greater depth. But that’s not necessarily a bad thing – especially when the character in question is Roger.

If you’re new to American Dad!, this episode might not be the best place to start. There are a lot of inside jokes and references to previous episodes that might be lost on viewers who haven’t been following the show from the beginning. But for fans who have been keeping up with the Smith family’s antics for the past 12 seasons, The Witches of Langley is definitely a highlight.

All in all, The Witches of Langley is a very enjoyable episode of American Dad! that’s well worth watching. It doesn’t take itself too seriously and the writers clearly had a lot of fun coming up with all the witchcraft-themed hijinks that Roger gets up to. If you’re a fan of the show, be sure to tune in – you won’t be disappointed.
