In American Grit season 2 episode 6, titled "Selfish vs. Selfless," the remaining contestants face a challenge that puts their values to the test. The episode begins with host John Cena reminding the competitors that they are not alone in this competition and that their success depends not only on their strength and skills, but also on their ability to work as a team.

The challenge consists of two parts: the first one requires the contestants to navigate through a maze while carrying a heavy sandbag. The catch is that they can only use one hand, which means that they have to rely on each other to complete the task. The second part of the challenge is a puzzle that requires them to work together to solve it.

The contestants are divided into two teams, Team Noah and Team John. Noah is the team captain of Team Noah, while Rorke is the captain of Team John. Noah is known for his selfish attitude and tendency to prioritize his own interests over the team's, while Rorke is known for his selfless approach and willingness to put others before himself.

As soon as the challenge begins, it becomes clear that teamwork will be crucial to success. The contestants have to communicate effectively, trust each other, and make quick decisions in order to navigate through the maze and solve the puzzle. Team Noah starts off strong, with Noah taking the lead and directing his teammates through the maze. However, his selfishness soon becomes apparent when he starts to put his own needs before the team's.

On the other hand, Team John takes a more collaborative approach. Rorke encourages his teammates to work together and listens to their input. The team's communication is smooth and efficient, and they make quick progress through the maze. When it comes to the puzzle, both teams struggle at first, but Team John's selfless attitude allows them to eventually pull ahead and solve it faster than Team Noah.

While Team John celebrates their victory, Team Noah has to face the consequences of their defeat. Noah's selfishness has caused friction within the team, and some of his teammates voice their frustration with his behavior. Noah tries to defend himself, but ultimately realizes that his approach has been counterproductive and that he needs to change his attitude if he wants to succeed in the competition.

The episode ends with the contestants reflecting on the challenge and the importance of teamwork. They realize that, in American Grit, the individual is only as strong as the team, and that a selfless attitude is key to success. As they prepare for the next challenge, they know that they will need to continue to rely on each other if they want to come out on top.
