Ep 8. Trophy Wife

Katie Otto, the lead character of American Housewife, seems to have it all figured out. When Ashley confronts Katie in the ladies' room, the two have a heated exchange that ultimately leads to Katie admitting that she's always felt threatened by Ashley's good looks and success. The two women come to a mutual understanding and decide to work together to raise money for the charity.

As the evening wraps up, everything seems to have worked out for the best. Angela and her husband are back on track, and Katie has made a new friend in Ashley. Greg is proud of Katie for taking the high road, and she realizes that sometimes being vulnerable and admitting insecurity is the best way to move forward. The episode ends with everyone having a good time at the country club, and Katie realizing that "The Second Lady" title might not be everything it's cracked up to be.
