Ep 3. Gordon's Gold Mine

In American Pickers season 2 episode 3, titled "Gordon's Gold Mine," Mike Wolfe and Frank Fritz are shopping for antiques in Iowa. They are attracted to Gordon's acreage after hearing about his massive collection of vintage cars, motorcycles, and memorabilia. At one point, the guys discover an old phone booth that catches their eye. They track down the owner of the phone booth and drive to her home to check it out. The woman is a collector herself and has a wide variety of items for sale, including a rare 1950s vending machine that Mike and Frank are interested in.

Mike and Frank continue their search for treasures on Gordon's property, and their enthusiasm is infectious. They take a liking to an old Volkswagen van and are also interested in a rare 1950s Harley Davidson motorcycle. However, Gordon's unwillingness to part with his beloved items proves to be a challenge.

Throughout the episode, the guys take the time to learn about some of the history behind the items that they come across. They share their findings with Gordon, and he appreciates their appreciation for his collection. Ultimately, Mike and Frank are able to purchase some items from Gordon's collection, and they leave happy with their finds.
