Andy is excited to meet a Triceratops, one of the most famous dinosaurs in the world. As he travels back in time, he lands in a lush forest full of giant plants. He spies a baby Triceratops and decides to follow it. However, the baby is soon joined by a group of adult Triceratops, who are not too thrilled to see Andy.
Andy quickly learns that Triceratops were fiercely protective of their young and were known to charge at any perceived threat. He manages to avoid their wrath by hiding behind a nearby rock. As he observes the Triceratops from a safe distance, he notices something strange about one of the adult Triceratops.
One of the Triceratops has a unique horn that is shaped differently from all the others. Andy decides to investigate further and follows the Triceratops to a nearby lake. There, he discovers that the Triceratops's horn is actually a piece of wood that has become embedded in the animal's head.
Andy realizes that the Triceratops is in pain and needs help. He returns to the present day and visits a museum to learn more about Triceratops horns. He discovers that the horns were made of a substance called keratin, which is the same material that makes up our hair and fingernails.
With this knowledge, Andy returns to the Late Cretaceous period with a plan to remove the wood from the Triceratops's head. He carefully approaches the animal and uses a stick to pry the wood loose. The Triceratops seems relieved and is able to resume its normal activities.
