Ep 8. I Wonder

Jinta continues his search for Menma's diary, determined to find it despite his memories of their childhood friend fading away. As he continues to search, he begins to wonder if Menma's wish to fulfill the group's forgotten promise is truly what she wants, or if it is just what Jinta believes she wants.

Meanwhile, tensions within the group continue to rise as they struggle to come to terms with their own guilt and grief over Menma's death. Anaru becomes frustrated with her own inability to express her feelings, while Tsuruko struggles with the weight of her own secrets.

As the group prepares for a memorial service for Menma, new revelations come to light and old wounds are reopened, leading to a cathartic and emotional confrontation that may finally allow them to move forward and find peace.
