In this episode of Antiques Road Trip season 19, the adventure continues as antiques experts travel the length and breadth of the UK in search of hidden treasures. Each expert is given a budget of 200 pounds to spend on antiques, which they buy and then sell at auction. The aim of the game is to make a profit and beat the other expert's earnings.
First up is antiques expert Charles Hanson, who visits an impressive stately home in Cirencester. Here he discovers a magnificent Georgian bureau bookcase, with some impressive decorative features. He haggles over the price and tries to get it as low as possible, before loading it into his trusty vintage car and continuing on his journey.
Next, Charles heads to a charming antiques shop in Cheltenham, where he finds a range of interesting items, including a delightful tin toy and a rare Art Deco lamp. He bargains hard with the dealer and manages to get a good deal on the lamp, which he thinks will fetch a good price at auction.
Meanwhile, fellow expert Margie Cooper visits a 17th-century coaching inn in the picturesque market town of Ross-on-Wye. Here she comes across a beautiful set of silver forks and spoons, which she thinks will be a hit with collectors. She manages to snap them up for a bargain price and adds them to her growing collection of antiques.
Margie then travels to a quirky antiques shop in Hereford, where she discovers some interesting items, including an old doctors bag and a vintage typewriter. She strikes up a good rapport with the dealer and manages to get a great deal on the typewriter, which she thinks will be a real crowd pleaser at auction.
As the experts continue their journey, they face a number of challenges, including tricky dealers and unexpected expenses. However, they remain determined to make a profit and beat their rival's earnings. The competition becomes even more intense as they approach the final auction, where they will find out who has come out on top.
