In Antiques Road Trip season 9 episode 20, the two experts - Christina Trevanion and Thomas Plant - start their journey in the scenic town of Bath in southwest England. As usual, they are on the hunt for valuable antiques that they can buy with a limited budget and hopefully sell for a profit at an auction.

Christina wastes no time and heads straight to the Bath Decorative Antiques Fair to look for unique items. She spots a elegant giltwood mirror which she wants to buy for a bargain price but the dealer doesn't seem keen on lowering the price much. However, Christina is a master of negotiation and after some convincing, she manages to get it for a price that suits her budget.

Meanwhile, Thomas visits a renowned clockmaker, Dodgson Fine Arts in nearby Bristol. He is fascinated by a hefty longcase clock that is handmade in the 18th century. The clockmaker assures Thomas that he has found a treasure that will appreciate in value over time. Thomas is hesitant to spend such a large sum of money on the clock, but he is convinced by the clockmaker's vast knowledge and expertise.

Christina and Thomas meet up and start their journey again, this time aiming towards Malmesbury, a small town in Wiltshire with a bustling high street filled with antique shops. Christina stops at one shop and finds an unusual item of furniture - a Georgian corner cupboard with an inlaid design. She is impressed with the workmanship and is excited about the prospect of selling it at an auction.

Thomas, on the other hand, visits a dealer who specialises in silverware and is fascinated by an ornate silver salver with an intricate design. The dealer explains that it was made in 1815 by a renowned silversmith, and Thomas sees the potential to make a good profit if he manages to buy it at the right price.

As they make their way to their next location, Thomas is feeling confident about the salver, but Christina raises a question about the authenticity of the piece. They stop to consult an expert, who confirms that the salver is indeed genuine, and they both feel reassured.

The final leg of their journey takes them to a beautiful estate in rural Somerset where they hope to find some hidden treasures. Christina falls in love with a beautifully ornate Victorian birdcage, which she believes will be the perfect centrepiece for her auction lot. Meanwhile, Thomas manages to find a pair of Egyptian revival sphinxes which he is confident will make a handsome profit.

As they prepare for the auction, Christina and Thomas reflect on the valuable items they have collected on their road trip. They both feel optimistic about their chances of making a decent profit, but only time will tell who will come out on top.

Overall, Antiques Road Trip season 9 episode 20 is a must-watch for antique enthusiasts as it combines scenic locations, valuable antiques, and expert insight that will keep you engaged from start to finish.
