In episode 3 of B: The Beginning, the mystery surrounding Koku deepens as the audience catches a glimpse of his past. Flashbacks reveal Koku's tragic history with his sister and give insight into his motives for seeking out the killer. Meanwhile, Keith and Lily continue their investigation, but their partnership is immediately tested as they work against their own biases.
