Araragi continues to investigate the curse that has befallen his classmate, Suruga Kanbaru. In the previous episode, he discovered that Suruga had been possessed by a monkey's paw, which granted her immense strength but also caused her immense pain and suffering. In part two of "Suruga Monkey," Araragi goes to great lengths to try and break the curse that has taken hold of Suruga.

The episode begins with Araragi meeting with a mysterious girl named Oshino. Oshino is a specialist in curses, and Araragi hopes that she can help him figure out how to break the curse on Suruga. However, Oshino tells him that there is no easy solution to the problem. Araragi will need to confront the monkey's paw itself if he wants to break the curse.

Determined to help Suruga, Araragi sets out to find the monkey's paw. He enlists the help of his friend Hanekawa, who has a talent for research. Together, they discover that the monkey's paw is in the possession of Suruga's father. But when Araragi and Hanekawa confront him about the curse, he denies any knowledge of it.

With no other leads to follow, Araragi decides to confront Suruga herself. He tries to talk to her about the curse, but she becomes defensive and refuses to listen. Araragi realizes that he needs to find a way to convince Suruga to give up the monkey's paw willingly.

Araragi decides to challenge Suruga to a game of basketball. Suruga loves basketball and is delighted to accept Araragi's challenge. However, as they play, Araragi starts to use his vampire powers to gain an advantage. Suruga begins to suspect that Araragi is cheating, and the two of them come to blows.

During the fight, Araragi manages to pull off Suruga's monkey's paw, breaking the curse. However, the victory is short-lived. Suruga's father appears and takes the monkey's paw back, revealing that he was behind the curse all along. He explains that he wanted to teach Suruga a lesson about the dangers of power.

Araragi is shocked and angry, but he realizes that there is nothing he can do now. Suruga's father has taken the monkey's paw, and the curse has been broken. He says goodbye to Suruga and leaves, hoping that she will never have to suffer like this again.

Overall, "Suruga Monkey - Part 2" is a tense and emotional episode that delves deeper into the show's themes of power, responsibility, and the consequences of our actions. With its complex characters and intricate plot, Bakemonogatari continues to be a compelling and thought-provoking anime series.
